Casa Eva belongs to the latter category. More than just a residential building, it is a reflection on how architecture can establish a sense of continuity with nature, allowing the external environment to feature consistently in daily life.

Designed by the S-AR studio, the project is distributed over three floors, with a self-contained apartment on each one. Despite the autonomy of each apartment, the complex possesses a shared identity, shaped by the way each space relates to its surroundings and interprets the site in its own distinct manner. The communal areas, conceived as spacious covered terraces, serve as the heart of the domestic experience, fostering a relaxed lifestyle in which the distinction between indoors and outdoors almost entirely disappears.

Set on a sloping site, Casa Eva makes the most of this topography to provide different views of the landscape. On each floor, our gaze wanders beyond the treetops, lingers on the mountains and extends to the horizon. The architecture merely frames these scenes, avoiding unnecessary showiness and allowing nature itself to define the character of each of the apartments.
