Our visit to the latest Ambiente in Frankfurt was filled with new surprises. The various product areas that compose this global meeting in Dining, Living and Giving were well distributed in their proper pavillions and reforced with a lot of talks and professional attendance care by all the exhibitors.  
As usual on February, the fair includes three major categories that can be visited: Christmasworld, Creativeworld and Ambiente that was our goal to visit, especially the portuguese presence over there. And astonishing how the porcelain and ceramics expertise Made in Portugal was very well and tasteful presented. Costa Verde and Grestel group had two major stands for professional and contract contacts, Vista Alegre group again presented themselves with style and well decorated posts. Vasicol with printed innovations, Arfai Ceramics reinforcing their expertise, as well as Borralheira, or Barcela, or Hand Pot just to name some which presence was remarkable in design and product choice.
In the kitchen utensils domain, ICEL once again stood out for its range of products, and Silampos caught the attention of the general public with a new stand and innovative new options for consumers. In the cutlery and flatware area, Cutipol remained true to its image, with the same presentation as in previous years and incorporating some new features; the highlight goes to Herdmar which, with its new stand and new products designed by personalities from the world of architecture and art, reinforcing its positioning with well-studied marketing actions, responding to the needs of its audience.

It is also always a pleasure and delight to visit Japanese companies, large and small, not only for their minimalist and very professional care with products and visitors, but also for the philosophy that characterises Japanese performance and presentation, where less is more and with a subtle and very elegant aesthetic.
