In the spirit of the dolce vita, the Paris Society’s latest location offers an invitation to immerse ourselves in a theatrical setting from different eras, envisioned by the Friedmann & Versace duo.
Bambini is more than a popular and festive canteen-style restaurant with contrasting, playful and sophisticated décor; it is a tribute to the art of knowing how to live. In keeping with their signature style, Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace have focused on the composition and juxtaposition of materials, as well as on the use of traditional techniques and bespoke furniture in order to blend different styles and periods. Set in the Palais de Tokyo, the creative duo found inspiration in the most beautiful, the craziest and the most joyful elements of the Italian universe and have combined them with exquisite and natural materials, creating a space that encourages us to celebrate. Here we find Murano glass, rattan, marble, plaster, ceramics and extravagant fabrics. All in a convivial atmosphere where grace, brightness and simplicity create a dreamlike bubble and where the effervescence of Italian nights is brought to life.
As if lifted straight out of a Fellini film, the story starts to be told from the moment you step into the restaurant and the dialogue between eras and styles begins. Structured around different spaces, the abundant greenery and a myriad of naturalistic elements contrast with the brutalism of the iconic building that accommodates it.
