What a pleasure it was to attend the preview of the Steven Meisel exhibition, a photographer whose work I have admired and followed since the 80s, but also a unique opportunity to see in XL size all the covers and editorials of Italian Vogue that I treasure in my archives and that have always fascinated me for the free and creative way in which Steven and Franca Sozzani have collaborated for over 20 years.
While the presentation was entrusted to Jimmy Moffat’s agent who, during the visit, recounted several episodes and experiences related to the making of the photographs on display, the catalogue includes some special words by Michael Benson of Candlestar, a company that, among several projects, organises Photo London and will be responsible for Photo New York.

In the city of A Coruña, from November 19 to May 1, 2023 and with free admission, you will be able to see the unique exhibition of the legendary photographer Steven Meisel, a collection that displays the work done during 1993, a decisive date in his already glorious portfolio.
