The green expanse of the pines and cork oaks on this property, located in Alcácer do Sal, with the River Sado as a backdrop, is interrupted only by the bold red of the house. The architect of this home, Luís Rebelo de Andrade, made his mind up that nobody would ever lose themselves again, as he and the owner did when they visited the site for the first time. That is the reason why this colourful ‘lighthouse’ stands out, to guide visitors and the owners on their 500 acre estate.
