Nestled between the dense Atlantic Forest and the endless horizon of the ocean, this project by Studio Arthur Casas creates a serene retreat, where each space heightens the experience of inhabiting this landscape.
At Praia Brava, in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, between the humid density of the Atlantic Forest and the infinity of the ocean, Studio Arthur Casas has designed a residence that seems to glide down the tropical hillside with the natural ease of something that has always been part of that landscape.
There are houses designed to be seen. And others to be lived in. And then there are rare projects like Casa Bravíssima, where living and looking become one and the same experience.
Set on a steeply sloping plot within the Bravíssima Private Residence development, the residence hugs the natural contours of the hillside until it meets the maritime horizon.

Nothing interrupts this visual connection: the architecture prolongs the landscape rather than dominating it.
