Designed by the Rebelo de Andrade studio, the Átomos project arises from the desire to transform the way we interact with space and nature.
Suspended between the real and the poetic, the ensemble takes the form of a house-sculpture, a three-dimensional body that questions the boundaries between architecture, art and philosophy, where light, sound and movement become living matter, extending our perception and inviting us to pause.
In the heart of a landscape of vineyards, unexpected shapes seem to float above the ground. Inhabitable globes that seem to breathe in harmony with their backdrop, they are three copper-plated spheres joined together like atoms in suspension, defying gravity and architectural conventions. It is here that living becomes a sensory experience – a house that is also sculpture, thought and living substance.
Designed by the Rebelo de Andrade studio, Átomos is the result of a determination to rethink the way we inhabit the world. It 's more than a building, it 's a poetic organism that hovers between the real and the imaginary, a three-dimensional essay on the balance between nature, art and consciousness, fused into a single gesture. For Luís Rebelo de Andrade 's studio, in each project ‘there is a silent protagonist – the landscape – which demands a deep understanding and respect for its presence and form of manifestation’. And this is yet another example of their practice, which complements the surrounding ambience with deep respect and harmony, expressing ‘history and innovation, tradition and ecology, making architecture a unique art of transcendence.’

Located in Setúbal, between vineyards and expansive horizons, the architectural complex stands as a metaphor for life itself – movement, transformation and energy in constant dialogue with the place.
