To stay at the Puinn Hotel is to opt for moments of sheer calm, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.
Situated on one of China’s youngest and most beautiful volcanic islands, Weizhou Island offers visitors a scenic landscape of turquoise waters, volcanic coastlines and a mild climate. Covered in natural red marble, the Puinn Hotel not only reflects the island’s unique geology but also stands out against its volcanic surroundings, offering a sanctuary for relaxation. At the reception desk, guests are met by a large counter made of natural red stone, resembling an eruption of lava crystallised over time. Meanwhile, the swimming pool area is inspired by the discovery of a mysterious underground thermal spring. The designers from Funs Creative Design Consultant have replicated a natural karst cave through the fragile curves and rock-like curves of the ceiling, which can be reached through lush vegetation, just like the vegetation of the surrounding area.

In keeping with wabi-sabi principles, the rooms try to reproduce the most organic and minimal forms of nature, echoing the beige and brown tones of the landscape.
