There is a new space to discover in Praia da Vagueira, in Aveiro, that brings together areas such as “physical rehabilitation, women's health, baby's health, family health, well-being and nutrition”, explains Joana Pereira from Qiarq arquitectura+design, responsible for the project.

In a welcoming atmosphere (heightened by the use of wood and plants) and minimalist (marked, also, by the technical floors, white walls and clean lines), the neutral tones of the rooms dominate. Natural light and the location of the windows influenced the distribution of the space: “the clinic's main spaces (classroom and office) gets natural light from the southeast, while the technical areas of the pantry and toilets are distributed throughout the rest of the space.”

Simple and bright, the result is a diversified space where light remains as a key player of the project. The use of frosted glass doors and interior windows contribute to the diffusion of light, combining the building’s elegance and functionality.
