With panoramic views of Cascais Bay, the latest project by the Traçado Regulador studio goes beyond architecture - it's a conceptual statement.
A luxury villa that challenges and elevates the concepts of contemporary living is the proposal of the architecture firm Traçado Regulador, recognised for the uniqueness of its spatial approach, for this new project in Cascais.
"This project is a tribute to space, landscape, and the emotional dimension of architecture," explains João de Sousa Rodolfo, architect and founder of Traçado Regulador.
The imposing entrance to the property, marked by double-height ceilings and a six-metre door, introduces the project's concept: grandiose without being ostentatious. Along the way, the morphology of the spaces is revealed by contrasts of light and shade, subtle transitions between interior and exterior, and complete and empty spaces that reflect the spatial complexity that defines the studio's style.
The interiors were designed to enhance the experience of comfort and well-being. The living room, dining room, and kitchen blend fluidly, opening out onto the surrounding landscape. The villa has eight suites, with the 100 m2 primary suite standing out, making it easily one of the house's favourite spots.
Among the spaces that elevate the property to a luxurious and exclusive level are the garage, which has a capacity for 15 cars, the gym, the cinema room, the wine cellar, the panoramic lift, the fire pit, and the 28-metre-long infinity pool.
The rooftop offers an even more immersive experience of the view of Cascais Bay, with a bar, support kitchen, and hydromassage pool. The project was designed on the principle of sensory luxury, with special attention to energy efficiency, active and passive sustainability solutions, and subtle integration into the natural topography of the land.
"We wanted to create a house that would surprise, yes, but above all, that would be livable with intensity. A house with soul, made to experience the beauty of the place in every detail."
True to its essence, Traçado Regulador signs another work where architecture transcends function - a house that doesn't just occupy space, but challenges, inspires, and endures in time and space.
