Bessa Pereira Gallery in Lisbon opened on May 28th the exhibition Quase (Almost in English) by Marco Sousa Santos. The show comprehends furniture and lighting pieces developed by the Portuguese designer that, for some reason, never got to be produced and sold. At the exhibition we find prototypes, or very limited edition pieces, that were a part of the creative process for the design of iconic objects by Marco Sousa Santos.
“In Quase we will not stand out the most famous pieces by the designer, instead we are showing the prototypes and unique pieces, that “almost” entered the commercial circuit, but because they didn’t pass the “almost” state became even more singular”.
Runs until 29 June 2015 (Tuesdays to Saturdays from 2h30 PM to 7h30 PM).
