Our destination was the 200-acre Donum Estate, which combines a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, an organic farm, one of the largest private collections of accessible sculpture in the world, and Donum Home – a space developed by architect Matt Hollis from MH Architects studio, "where guests can savour the layers of Donum wine in a natural setting and explore the art collection."

To celebrate Donum Estate's 20th anniversary, Danish architect David Thulstrup reinterpreted Donum Home through his holistic vision, presenting "an honest, simple space devoid of design complexities". This architectural projection celebrates the region where it is set, by using locally-sourced materials, and embodies a combination of hospitality and the sensation of being at home, enhanced through the bespoke furniture, such as the California granite stone table or vase by Danish artist Lene Bødker.
