Somewhere between the built world and the living world, there is a place that belongs to both. This red-brick Orangery, set within a private property in the Netherlands, has always straddled that threshold: a building that breathes the garden, permeated by light and the sounds of nature. Ina Rinderknecht – renowned for her ability to transform existing spaces into places that feel as if they have always been that way – was the natural choice to lead this transformation. When the owners entrusted her with the spaces where they entertain, relax and live, their vision was clear: more character, more sensory richness, without altering the soul of the building they already loved.

The designer discovered in the red brick of the façade itself the tone that would define the spirit of the entire transformation. From this insight emerged a palette of warm, earthy tones, cream and dark wood that flows through the interiors with naturalness and coherence.
