There is an inherent elegance in repetition. In Urbanjobs’ latest project, ORIGAMI, the space transcends its function as a mere retail outlet to become an architectural translation of fine patisserie.
Taking inspiration from the meticulous stratification of a croissant, the interior is structured through a system of layering and sectional articulation that champions visual discipline. The layout unfolds along a commanding longitudinal axis, where bespoke shelving units form a seamless continuum—merging storage, display, and lighting into a single architectural gesture. These vertical frames establish a rhythmic, almost musical cadence, creating structural bays that impose order while maintaining the flexibility required for product presentation. Beneath the horizontal planes, integrated lighting accentuates the tiered surfaces, a direct nod to the laminated dough that informs the concept.

In the ORIGAMI project, identity is not forged through decorative flourishes, but through the precision of its junctions. The intersections of glass, metal, and timber are executed with surgical rigour. Display cases, stripped of unnecessary framing, eliminate visual noise to ensure the product remains the undisputed protagonist.
"The space is defined not by excess, but by discipline; an interior built through layers, alignment, and controlled contrast."
This material continuity extends into the seating area. Timber furniture and mineral-finished tables respect the established spatial hierarchy, ensuring that movement flows naturally along the central corridor.

The result is a refined environment where architecture serves as a silent frame, celebrating restraint and formal clarity.
