After conquering the digital world, fashion brand ALOHAS entrusted Clap Studio with the design of its first flagship store in the heart of Barcelona.
Inspired by the brand's history, the Valencian design studio focused on the volcanic landscapes of Hawaii to create the first ALOHAS' flagship store located on the famous Rambla de Catalunya. "The surface of a lava river, over time, cools and hardens, creating underground rivers that, after the eruption, transform into tunnels with a magical appearance. This geological concept has been the cornerstone of our design," explains Àngela Montagud, director of Clap.
With a bold aesthetic, the shop looks like a volcanic cave, with an atmosphere that combines the power of nature and the sophistication of design. The metal furniture with pointed shapes emulates the ferocity of lava, contrasting with the calm and serene ambience of the space. The large ceiling lights represent the openings that form in these caves over time.
The dialogue between this raw, fierce aesthetic of the decoration and the elegance of the ALOHAS pieces captures the essence and duality of the brand's new image, offering customers an immersive and unique experience. The result of this Clap Studio project is not just a retail space, but also an interior landscape that represents the identity and vision of the ALOHAS fashion brand.
