Designed by Butterfly Studio, this project celebrates the harmony between modernity and classic elements, with references to vintage style and icons of Polish design.
Created for a creative couple who love modern art and pink, this apartment in the center of Krakow is bold, fun, and full of unique solutions. Every detail in the space was thought out and selected by Anna Baranowska and Joanna Felczuk, considering the couple's particular taste - from the terrazzo to the kitchen countertops, to the decorative vases and jars.
The kitchen, the heart of the apartment, has an unconventional layout: in the open space, the classic island has been replaced by a round table with a hanging lamp in the center. The pink color present in the space in different shades and uses gives the kitchen a unique and special character.
With the owners' preferences in mind, the studio ensured the presence of terrazzo tiles - one of the couple's passions - in various rooms of the apartment: on the kitchen countertop, in the bathrooms, and in the dressing room. With its diversity of patterns and colors, this material complements the pastel tones of the interior perfectly.
Inspired by geometric shapes, the bedroom, a true oasis, conveys a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The carefully selected headboard and other accessories create a bold yet comfortable space. This room is a combination of personality and practicality - the steel columns behind the TV and the arched mirror are details that give the space a fun and unique feel.
The rooms were designed with the couple's day-to-day living in mind. When planning the project, the Butterfly Studio team didn't forget about the four-legged resident: one of the bathrooms has a special cupboard with a built-in litter box and a small passage in the door for the cat. Behind a large cupboard, the space hides the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Intense, functional, cozy, and perfect for relaxation - this apartment was designed according to the owners' needs and tastes and is now the place they wanted to live and work.
