He stumbled across this home, built in the 1950's and which still featured "very different details in relation to what was typical of the period, clearly standing apart from the common place language of architecture in Portugal, which was probably the result of the fact that the first owner was Dutch”, the present proprietor reveals.
Passionate about the spirit of this decade, the big challenge was to adapt a typical holiday home to a residence for daily living. As the creative director of Ding Dong, Michael set about modernising the space to meet contemporary standards of comfort and expectations, without compromising its original features.
