Korean artist Do Ho Suh explores the spaces’ flexibility through his site-specific sculptures that challenge the way viewers occupy and inhabit public space.
It’s difficult to capture his works in static images because they can’t transmit the lightness and malleability of the delicate fabrics used in his installations. Nils Clauss accepted the challenge of filming some works of Do Ho Suh from 2002 to 2012, including some shown at the Perfect Home exhibition, at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. The result is the film Do Ho Suh. Perfect Home, where the director takes us on a journey through the artist’s work.
