Designed by Block722 as the personal home of the studio’s founders and their family, this duplex penthouse in Papagou balances exacting functionality with an organic sense of luxury and a constant dialogue with nature.
Occupying the top two floors of a boutique building conceived by the practice, the home presents a modern architectural language softened by curves, timber details and Mediterranean planting. Inside, every element, from the layout to the bespoke furniture, has been shaped around the family’s rhythms and preferences. The lower level brings together two bedrooms and a generous, free-flowing social area, while the upper floor hosts the primary suite opening onto a terrace with a pool, deck and green views, creating the impression of a house suspended above the city.
