In the valley where the neighbourhood of Hercules nestles, no new worlds have been invented; instead, it is the patina of time that reveals the magic of reality.
Memories reach us from the mid-19th century, in the shape of the old textile factory. 165 years later, a brewery was added, reviving the greatness of the industrial past, and providing the beating heart of the local economy, culture and identity. It is within this setting of collective memory that the new Hotel Hércules is located. Gonzalez Muchow Arquitectura (GOMA) is responsible for the refurbishment project and El Urdido for the interior design of this plural and vibrant ecosystem.
The 40 guestrooms are located around the central courtyard featuring the Greek god in an iconic 19th century marble statue, a kind of material embrace that seems to be set to the soundtrack of a more leisurely era when the radio played and the world simply listened. The hand-made pieces from the Caralarga studio are scattered throughout the space like a legacy that doesn’t let this spirit fade away.

In the carding room, now open-air, the past is reinvented but with added touches of hedonism. As well as a swimming pool and volleyball court, Buenavista also hosts concerts by cult bands.
