On the 17th of April, some of Ukraine’s brightest handcrafted visionaries participated in a live exhibition at the CONTINUUM space for the Milan Design Week 2023. The presentation occurred in the basement of an old building in the heart of Milan.
CONTINUUM brought together promising Ukrainian artists who stand out in 5 respective areas: design, fashion, crafts, cooking and perfumery. Ukrainian designer and cultural heritage architect Victoria Yakusha created the exhibition concept.
“The visionaries I have united create in a special state - a state of purity - it’s a place where the past meets the future. The objects made in this dimension are timeless. Our installation is about the spirit of freedom, respect for nature and consistency. White is the core colour of CONTINUUM – the definition of blank completeness,” she said.
Victoria Yakusha is the designer behind the FAINA brand that presented for the first time at Milan Design Week its two new collections – MOVCHUN and SLUHACH.
FAINA is a multidisciplinary design brand that creates handcrafted minimalist objects.
