Design studio DOKA Concepts has set aside the conventional cold white aesthetic of dental clinics and created a welcoming space with a harmonious palette of coral and soft blues prioritising well-being.
The differences start as soon as you arrive. This clinic has no traditional reception desk; instead, a host greets patients in a cosy waiting room. The corridors are enveloped in soft beige tones and bamboo walls, bathed in natural light. The same relaxing atmosphere extends to the treatment rooms, designed so that comfort and well-being always come first, incorporating natural elements such as bamboo that promote a calm and professional atmosphere. A cloud-like gradient, from translucent to white, creates a soft vision in the treatment room, providing a sense of privacy. A light blue world dominates here, with walls, floors and furniture in the same colour.
Some biophilic design elements - which aim to connect people with nature - have also been incorporated, such as round shapes, indirect lighting, abundant vegetation and natural materials. The proven calming effect of these elements helps to relax the most anxious patients.
