With 3k square feet, this is an extremely functional family home where the healthy balance between family unity and solitude really exists. Throughout the house, every inch of storage has been carefully planned. In the kitchen, the L.A.-based interior designer Liza Reyes, in charge of the project, applied her principles of small-space living to create a multipurpose kitchen for these clients that makes as much sense for entertaining as it does for easy weekends at home with family. Liza added functional storage and meticulously measured built-ins, Neutra-inspired palette of unpainted plywood, cement, stone and tile.
