    The brand awards its 14th international outdoor furniture design awards

Boies, Sun and Valeria: these are the outdoor lights made from recyclable plastic that have been recognised by an expert jury. 
For the fourteenth consecutive year, GANDIABLASCO has awarded the prizes of its International Outdoor Furniture Design Competition, undertaken with the aim of recognising and supporting the creativity of young talents who are passionate about design and life outdoors.
In this edition, the competition aimed to award the best outdoor lights by highlighting their uniqueness, innovation and functionality, as well as their ability to integrate into an outdoor environment. The proposals had to be original, unpublished and made of 100% recycled plastic.
The 14th International Outdoor Furniture Design Competition was judged by a jur y of experts made up of José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, President and Creative Director of Gandia Blasco S.A; Juan Molins, art critic and exhibition curator; Marcelo Ghio, Content Strategy Director and editor at Experimenta magazine; and Helena Rohner, jewellery designer at Helena Rohner studio. 

The winning designs were Boies, by María Franco Llinares and Denis Calle, who won first place, Sun, by Eduardo Blanco Espeleta, positioned in second place, and Valeria, by Daniel San Juan, was awarded a special mention.
