The architecture studio Ocaso Studio, led by architect Francisco Barosa, has transformed this flat into a haven of tranquillity and serenity, a place that invites introspection and peace. The redesign, starting from the existing structure, has maximised the entry of natural light, creating a minimalist architecture that fosters transformation and spatial organisation.

Neutral tones and wood predominate, reinforcing the tranquillity. The utmost attention to detail and simple, minimalist finishes emphasise the contemporary nature of the project. The large windows establish a dialogue with the landscape, keeping us in constant contact with the outdoors, with the river to the south and the forest to the north.
Open and interconnected spaces were designed in the social areas, enclosed by sliding doors, allowing for integration and harmony between them. This ambiguity, together with the meticulously designed architecture, not only improves the functionality of the spaces but also separates the common areas from the private ones, creating distinct universes. The meticulously designed interior spaces elevate the project, emphasising well-being.

Attention to detail goes hand in hand with the rigorous design of doors, cupboards and furniture, giving formality to the home while choosing simplicity as a virtue. Here, the rigour of the architecture, combined with the sensual language of the environments, forms the essence and success of the place.
