The Garden House, which is part of the exclusive Rosewood Houses, a set of eight single-family homes, is located in the golden triangle where West Hollywood meets Beverly Hills, on a quiet and charming street just a few blocks from the city's most crucial design and fashion stores. The home offers the best of both worlds in true L.A. fashion between a quiet residential lifestyle and a vibrant neighbourhood.

The architecture has the signature of the renowned Olson Kundig office and has a contemporary style of elegant lines, dramatic volumes, noble materials and minimal details. Modern and discreet, this house features a single side entrance, which divides the home into north and south zones connected by a central nucleus with double height. The experience provides a sense of lightness inside and the seclusion of an outdoor garden with a pool and spa.

On the other hand, the interior design was in charge of the multidisciplinary design studio and furniture brand ATRA, namely the interior designer Gabriella Kuti. "We curated the best that Mexico has to offer to enhance this home with unique works of art and design," says Gabriella. The interior design took cues from Olson Kundig's architecture, adding a touch of California living and creating a sophisticated, natural and luxurious environment. ATRA chose earthy and neutral tones, prolonging the sense of calm and timelessness of the elegant architecture. Some unusual warm and vibrant colours have also been introduced. In addition, they used a variety of porous stones, such as volcanic stone and silver travertine, and fabrics, such as velvet and mohair, adding different textures to the house.
