Mokotów, Warsaw, is a charming Polish neighbourhood and is home to this house, recently refurbished by designers Anna Baranowska and Joanna Felczuk, owners of Butterfly Studio.
The apartment's interiors were completely reorganized, completely reversing the house's original layout, now promoting privileged views over the palace and the vegetation in the living area.

Since the beginning of the project, the clients have shown themselves to be available for bolder and more colourful solutions. The designers wanted to create a welcoming, elegant and comfortable space that used colour to fulfil this objective. In fact, throughout the project, colour always played a dominant and decisive role.
In the decor, vintage elements were present, such as the reformed Noises chairs from the communist era, whose colours are related to the palette of the entire apartment. Some round and organic shapes, combined with wood and plants, create a very cosy and homely atmosphere.

The apartment is divided into a common area and a private area. We find the living room, kitchen, guest bedroom and service bathroom in the common area. The private area houses the main bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with sauna.

The bathrooms are also differentiated by colour - one is pink and the other blue. The rose, right at the entrance, is smaller and more welcoming. While the one in the bedroom, which is larger, also has access to the sauna.
The sauna should be glazed, overlooking the bathroom and the study area, where it is possible to appreciate the vegetation through the large glazed loggia. However, to maintain privacy, graphite glass was chosen.

The entire project shows great attention to detail. The colours were combined perfectly, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere.
