A limited edition collection reveals the connection of Ukrainians with their earth.
Victoria Yakusha is a Ukrainian designer, artist, and architect whose philosophy of 'live design’ centers around earth and ethnic roots. A form of artistic resistance, her latest collection “Stepping on Ukrainian soil” manifests the strong connection every Ukrainian holds with their earth. The collection includes limited edition designs — a handwoven, two-meter tapestry, Zemlia, an incarnation of Ukrainian soil, as well as a series of primitive animistic benches and stools, each sculpted with the author’s signature sustainable material.
