Surrounded by 600 hectares, in the heart of the Utah desert, Camp Sarika by Amangiri opened doors, marking an important moment in the tenth anniversary of the Amangiri brand.
Composed of only ten luxury tents, this is a serene haven, where the shadows of the clouds dance over the reddish rocks, the view is lost on the horizon and time stops.
Concept
The new 55-hectare luxury camp is located just a 30-minute walk (or five-minute drive) from the iconic resort - Amangiri. Camp guests can therefore enjoy the resort's facilities whenever they wish, although everything they need is conveniently located at Camp Sarika. With an impressive view, the camp consists of ten luxurious tents, each with an outdoor deck and a private pool. Camp Sarika by Amangiri offers a unique wild experience in absolute comfort, revealing Utah's supernatural landscapes. Offering an incredible connection with nature that makes city life a distant memory, the design of Camp Sarika was developed in complete harmony with the inspiring environment that surrounds it.
Designed by San Francisco and the international design company, Luxury Frontiers, each tent has a living area, dining room, bar and private area. The interior decoration of each pavilion is essentially composed of natural materials, such as wood and leather, which reflect the undulating and transforming surface of the desert light. On the other hand, in the outer space of each pavilion we are surprised with individual pools, campfires and telescopes, which further encourage immersion in nature.
Gastronomy
With the signature of chef Anthony Marazita, the camp's restaurant serves innovative dishes focusing on native cuisine from the North American Southwest. The restaurant's menu is changed daily, using the freshest local produce, and always includes vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast, with delicious dishes such as homemade granola and Mequite Eggs Benedict. Culinary highlights of lunch and dinner include grilled Scottish salmon, duck confit and black bean burger. Afternoon tea is served daily.
Spa & Wellness
The two spa treatment rooms offer an extensive menu of therapies inspired by traditional Navajo wellness practices, as well as Aman's signature treatments. Camp Sarika offers a special two-hour spa trip, known as Desert Calm, designed to hydrate and soothe your body, mind and spirit.
Experiences
Surrounded by numerous national monuments, the Navajo Nation Reserve and five national parks, including Zion, Grand Canyon and Bryce, Camp Sarika is exceptionally well located for exploring the region's natural and cultural attractions. Guests can take private tours by plane, helicopter or hot air balloon to reveal the magnificence and true scale of the region.
