The curtain rises and we find ourselves in the setting of Theatro. Don’t be misled by the name... This isn’t the place to come and see the old plays that once inspired the first filmmaker in Póvoa de Varzim. It’s stage now features flavours, literature, wine and art – a four-in-one experience that has been breathing new life into this beautiful Art Nouveau building. Theatro accommodates a restaurant and a winter garden, both found on its ground floor.
