The Labyrinth Table by designer and craftsman Benjamin Nordsmark shows as a banal object such as a table, can acquire an extra dimension. In this case, Benjamin created a universe of a labyrinth inside the table’s top, allowing for its users to interact with the piece.
The object is constructed in steel, cladded in wood, providing that through magnetism the pieces can be moved around, using handles bellow the table. The top is covered in glass, making it possible to watch while the game is being played.
The Labyrinth Table won a Silver A’ Design Award.
