It is located in a prime residential area of the city of Porto, that this aparment lays down, on the 17th floor. Over the course of the year, this couple of lawyers approached the Perímetros AD architecture and design studio for the decoration of their apartment.
Their starting point was “the period and layout of the property — where the wood panelling embodies the timelessness of the classic”. The creatives in charge of the project — Isabel Feio and Benedita Seara — made sure that tranquillity and well-being blended with the personality of the space itself, stamped on a new lifestyle. The apartment unfolds in an eclectic language, poised between the contemporary and the classic, in a spacious area that greets visitors through a generous and intimate entrance hall. From here, the living room “explodes with light and airiness, set out in such a way as to establish three distinct areas that can be experienced simultaneously”. We move on to the study, a space that “is conducive to reading and moments of personal relaxation, in an atmosphere with an English feel, where the wood-panelled walls and the prominent presence of books provide a cosy atmosphere”, where more playful moments can be enjoyed at a games table with a “brown velvet top that evokes the warmth of coffee, a satisfying hot chocolate, or a fine glass of Port accompanied by a cigarillo or traditional cigar”, the creative partners emphasise.
