There’s two more reasons to visit Scandinavia - the Vipp shelter and the Vipp loft are just the first "rooms" of the Vipp hotel, an untraditional hotel that offers exceptional suites at various destinations, “instead of offering many rooms in just one location”. The concept created by the Danish practice Vipp invites people to enjoy amazing experiences, that bring together good design and extraordinary places.
For now, guests can choose between a 400m2 loft in Copenhagen, designed by David Thulstrup, or to retreat to a 55m2 shelter in the Swedish wilderness. The first option, just 10 minutes from the heart of city center, is situated on the top floor of the Vipp office. The loft is equipped with a kitchen, living and dining area and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There are endless options to relax: catch up some reading on the library, lounge on the couch, soak in the tub and pamper yourself with treats from Aèsop or relax by the fire.
The fusion with the purity of the landscape is the hallmark of the shelter, a peaceful hideaway composed by a black steel structure. Every piece of this place is “a chance to go offline and connect with nature”, making the most of the relationship with its surroundings. The result is a home full of serenity, where there’s nothing better than enjoying the simple pleasures of life, like listening to the sounds of the forest or cooking, in a modern and rural living.
A project by Vipp.
