Luteca was founded by Amanda and Sebastian Reant in 2015 to produce contemporary and modernist design inspired by the rich legacies of Mexico and Latin America.
The brand highlights modernist Mexican design that is timeless, beautiful and detailed in manufacture. Coupled with tenets of Mexican craft, its creations are seamless hybrids of minimal silhouettes that are both architectural and warm all at once.

We want to ignite emotions among our interior designer community and among their own clients”, say Amanda and Sébastien. “Emotions with us come usually with the combination of heritage and innovation. The designs we carry have an amazing sense of universality so we do everything for our clients to be able to use our furniture in all environments (urban, beach, mountain). Whether it is with material or people, inclusivity is at the core of what we do.

With already one showroom based in New York, Luteca is currently expanding. Amanda and Sébastien recently relocated to Paris where they have just opened a new gallery/showroom. The duo also inaugurated another space in Mexico City and are about to open a fourth one in Los Angeles (in just a few months).
The entrepreneurial couple works directly with the families and foundations that hold the legacies to some of the most important 20th century Mexican and Latin American design masters (such as Clara Porset and Michael Van Beuren) and alongside them, contemporary talents influenced by the region’s rich architectural history (such as Jorge Arturo Ibarra and Studio Martes, among others).
The constant appreciation between past and present, quality of skilled workmanship and combination of unique local materials and techniques are at the core of Luteca’s foundation.
