Founded by Rocío Gallardo and Jorge Ros, Simuero is known for its imperfect, organically shaped, handmade jewellery. Located in the historic Patraix neighbourhood of Valencia, the new studio reflects this philosophy. The design by Form Estudio pays homage to the brand's raw and authentic side.
Through this renovation, the Valencian architecture and design firm aimed to establish a dialogue between the past and the present. A distinctive feature of the project is the reinterpretation of the chequered hydraulic tiles that once covered the house's floor. Although the originals could not be preserved, new tiles with the same pattern were introduced, keeping alive the memory of the pre-existing space in a more contemporary design.

The layout of Casa Simuero revolves around a central courtyard that fills the interiors with natural light and reinforces the connection with the outside. On the ground floor, the workplace, kitchen, and showroom coexist, while the upper floor features an office area and meeting rooms.
Materiality is a fundamental aspect of the design, as warm woods, steel, terracotta flooring, and lime-based paints come together to create a cohesive atmosphere that highlights the brand's artisanal spirit.

Collaboration with other brands has been essential in building Casa Simuero's identity. The interior carpentry bears the signature of Oven, which oversaw the design and handcrafted production of each wooden element, integrating pieces from its collection, along with a solid iroko wood kitchen.
Danish design brand FRAMA provided furniture and some metal elements (chairs, wall lamps, and a stainless steel cabinet), adding a contemporary touch to the space that complements the craftsmanship. Together, these types of collaborations add depth and authenticity to the brand, amplifying the spirit that defines Simuero.

The atmosphere in this space reflects the organic qualities of the jewellery — texture, rhythm, luminosity, and materiality are present in every detail. "We wanted to create a space that reflected our creative process — slow, artisanal, and deeply meaningful," explain Rocío Gallardo and Jorge Ros.
