Hermès continues to illuminate the De Bijenkorf shop windows in the centre of Amsterdam, this time with the installation Metamorphosis. The brand gave carte blanche to the duo of creatives from studio Bonsoir Paris, only referring the main theme, and the designers decided to evoke the water element – something very dear to the inhabitants of Amsterdam.
«While keeping the brand’s heritage and identity, we offered a digital interpretation of various states of water», they explain. With still and animated shop windows, the project represents water through complex systems, that mimic the complexity in nature's details. «The whole installation was designed to be modular, allowing to adapt these systems in different Hermès windows around the world».
