Capacho, the new collection from the designers and brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana is another example of the duo's signature style. The Brazilian duo often develop their projects from common, banal, and low-tech materials, and then use the surprise effect as their best weapon.
In this case, the Campana brothers used the traditional doormat, made from natural coconut fibre and combined it with freijó wood, creating a small furniture collection. All the pieces are made from these two materials but the way they’re applied varies, as in the case of the dresser, where the designers developed an abstract geometrical pattern, similar to a puzzle.
