Musen Space Design has delivered one more house in Taichung City, in Taiwan, an industrial residence that combines bold structural elements with raw patterns and neutral colours.

As the studio explains, “as natural light falls on different parts and materials of the interior space, the image of a home becomes more versatile”. In effect, the team decided to used fair-faced concrete faux finish on the walls and hardwood flooring imported from Switzerland on the pavement, contrasting with the metallic painting tubes on the ceilings. Other elements, such as the TV on a shelf and the customized dining table, were integrated in order to save space, also contributing to its coherent aesthetic and fluidity.

In fact, in this 36 square meters apartment, we arrive at the conclusion that the secret to its successful renovation lies in the simplicity of its materials and its informal, almost raw language, combined with a relaxed and minimalistic décor.
