The house, built on land facing the sea, and with the intention of respecting the ground where it is placed, stands in a Cartesian structure of concrete slabs and columns that in the distance pretend to appear great lightness, never to dominate the landscape.
It was designed to respond to the site and enhance the environment. It is divided into 2 levels according to the type of spaces; the social and meeting area in lower floor, and the private area in the upper part.
The overlapping volumes allow the landscape to be framed in the three rooms of the house in a welcoming way that is suitable for pleasure and relaxation. Air circulation was always considered to be the protagonist of the house, allowing it to have its own environment for relaxation. In social areas, the aim is to erase the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing the user to connect with the environment. Wall-to-wall windows, exposed materials and finishes of the place allow a quiet environment for social gathering. The exterior spaces with uninterrupted views allow the house to fade into the surroundings and erase the line between the built and the existing.
Respecting the essence of the materials, both in the constructive part and in the interior design and furniture was a key piece for the execution of the project. The use of characteristic colors of the region allows to frame the coastal atmosphere of the house. Organic textures and elements of natural inspiration are used in key pieces in the setting.
The house, sheltered by the sea and the sand, becomes a haven of peace so that life passes calmly, surrounded by nature.
