If visitors to Philadelphia are lacking for anything, it’s definitely not hotel choice. After the first two locations, it’s time for Philadelphia-based hospitality company Method Co. inaugurate Roost East Market, a newly built 25-story building overlooking the Reading Terminal Market, one of America's largest and oldest public markets.

Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the property showcases 60 apartments “available for weekly and monthly accommodations”, marked by bespoke furniture, collected vintage, and classic modern designs with pieces from Chelsea Textiles, Gubi, and Stellar Works. Highlights include custom lighting fixtures from Stones & Sawyer to Workstead, antique Persian rugs and individually selected artwork from Lumas.

It’s all pulled together by a warm color palette composed by clean lines and subtle materials and several new amenities, including a ground floor lobby, community vegetable gardens & grills, a heated lap pool, fitness center, library & lounge, demo kitchen, and private screening room.

A pleasant dichotomy of traditional and contemporary, where the comfort of an apartment blends with design of a boutique hotel, “creating a temporary living environment ideally suited for a long-term stay”, explains Method Co.’s team.
