There’s a new place to know in the region of Langhe, in Italy. Michelin-starred chef Emilio Garola and Paolo Dalla Mora delight us with new gastronomic experiences, this time with an elegant shop-restaurant called Campamac. The high-end osteria, named after a dialectal word used in Piedmont as an encouragement (like "come on" in English), is defined by traditional and contemporary lines, that highlight the refined aesthetic and contribute to the warm and sophisticated ambience.
There are so many reasons for paying a visit, such as to have dinner with friends, to have a drink or to buy something in the small entrance shop. Clients can purchase fresh bread, pasta, the typical sauces and the best local meat cuts. But there's more: plates, glasses and even the Sweeper’s Clock by Danish designer Maarten Baas, are also for sale.
Every piece was designed by Fabio Ferrillo, from lighting to furniture, in order to “establish a dialogue between the concrete walls and the town of Barbaresco, but filtering the view to the outside through a green, tropical scenery”, explained. The scenographic central table in the cellar is an example of this mission - a bold and evocative detail, in marble and iron, that was also conceived by the architect.
