Occupying an old 19th-century building, in the heart of Barcelona’s vibrant Eixample neighborhood, Darial opens its doors as a multifunctional space that combines traditional elegance with an extensive selection of fashion, art, and gastronomy. Inside its ample high ceilings white-cube halls, the space curated by Djaba Diassamidze comprises several airy galleries divided into different categories, we uncover countless references to literature, home decor or design.

Among the highlights is, definitely, the golden palm trees, a series of pillars that enhance the exotic yet sophisticated atmosphere cinematographic references and design masterpieces. Names like Pierre Chareau, Serge Roche or Pierre Paulin are responsible for some interior design pieces, while plush ivory carpets and minimalist oriental arches recall that “Darial” idea (named after “gate” in old Persian).

With more than 100 brands (such as Raf Simons, The Row, Acne Studios, Mykita or Loewe), the space also brings together an inventory of unique and contemporary books, a cloister-like gallery (with raw concrete flooring and arcades) and a modern brasserie, Le Léopard, offering a gastronomic experience inspired by French, Spanish and Italian cuisine.
