Simple lines, neutral tones and natural materials tell the story of this beauty salon, signed by the Japanese SIDES CORE.
It is impossible to remain indifferent to the Casetta building. The industrial, contemporary, raw image marks a clear position of the Japanese brand and makes this space very "appealing". The project's layout is divided between the hair salon on the first floor and more relaxing services, such as spa-equipped hair treatment rooms, on the second floor.
In the original, old and picturesque building, with an imposing high ceiling and exposed concrete, there was already a staircase, which the designers decided to keep, which gives direct access to the second floor.

On the first floor, two 1.5m high L-shaped walls support the reception desk, forming a corridor and creating an unconscious sense of spatial expansion as places are glimpsed and hidden. The central L-shaped wall is clad in stamped solid wood.

Compared to the first floor, we find a space with a lower ceiling and smaller windows that create the perfect atmosphere to relax on the second floor. Lightweight materials and colour accents contrast with the first-floor space. Tailor-made curtains, with sheer layers over multiple layers of colourful lace, create more intimate zones. There are also suspended and mobile make-up booths and partitions to allow for changes in layout and services.
