After ten years of living in Copenhagen, this American art collector and founder of the WT Art Foundation decided to move to Kyiv and found the perfect apartment.
Located in one of the most bohemian districts of Kyiv and one of the favourite places for art lovers, this spacious apartment belongs to a building from the beginning of the 20th century.
The client desired to create a comfortable space to live, work and receive visitors. The apartment's interior is a bright, pure space with high ceilings and no unnecessary visual noise – the perfect canvas to receive all the bold, big and emotional pieces of furniture. From his old home in Denmark, the client brought some furniture and a vintage red rug that added personality to the environment.
Another desire was to use local materials, which is how Ukrainian granite came to be on the kitchen table, window sills, and the local wooden floor. The space is divided into two zones, connected by the unforgettable blue corridor: the public area, consisting of a living room, kitchen, office, guest room and laundry room, and the private area, with a large bedroom and bathroom.
The walls of the apartment are covered with works by young artists from all over the world, and throughout the house, there are several pieces of contemporary art.
This interior has classic elements, vintage and minimalist modern furniture and light - all this is the basis of Yevheniia Dubrovska studio style.
