A home built to inspire and connect with its surroundings.
A home built to inspire and connect with its surroundings. In the briefing from the client, there was one imperative: the creation of a refuge where the landscape could be the main protagonist.

Set in the ecological reserve of São Pedro beach, on the coastline of São Paulo, this 632 square meters residence signed by Brazilian studio Triart Arquitectura wanted to make the most of the surrounding natural environment while preserving the original wood structure of the building.

The answer would end up taking shape through “the combination of materials and rustic pieces with clean furniture and white background”, enhancing the connection between the interior and exterior. Among the highlights are the “biriba” panels (a kind of wood painted with white), the travertine marble flooring, that contrasts with the colours of nature, or the sliding doors, dividing the kitchen and the dining area.

Inside, there’s a feeling of serenity. A white canvas that allows us to observe the world outside and slow down. Now, we can discover our innermost self through a dialogue with nature.
