American artist Michael Beitz explores the cultural significance of furniture by distorting it (literally). His favourite pieces are the ones normally related to social moments, such as dinning tables, from which Beitz takes away its main function by introducing elaborate movements into the structure. 
Michael Beitz work has been displayed in several museums throughout the US and Canada.
