It is in the western area of Mexico City that we are going to explore VITR, a home-office space that has been renovated by Archetonic studio, which has skillfully respected the home’s natural environment and pre-existing circumstances.

One of the first examples of this is the contrast between materials such as concrete and granite with metal and plastic fabrics. The variations of different plans contribute to the idea of a “dynamic façade” where the “versatility of the plans is defined by “the movement of long-distance sliding screens and wainscots formed by timber”, explains the practice.

And how could one possibly overlook the steel staircase? Its sculptural identity is one of the most striking features, as well as the panoramic rooftop that offers extensive views to the lush vegetation.
