The renowned Swiss brand Patek Philippe has presented its new collection in a completely new interpretation of the 'elegant and sporty' style.
This October, Patek Philippe has expanded its collection with the unique Cubitus series, a bold fusion of audacity and elegance. The collection debuts in three distinct versions, each with a strong character that sets them apart. The original square case with rounded corners and a dial adorned with horizontal reliefs make the Cubitus a unique addition to the brand's range.
The technical model, Cubitus Instantaneous Grand Date, Day and Moon Phases, Reference 5822P-001 in platinum, powered by a new movement with instantaneous dials for which six patent applications have been filed; the vintage feel of the bicolour Cubitus model Reference 5821/1AR-001 in steel and rose gold with a blue sunburst dial; and the Cubitus Reference 5821/1A-001 in steel, the very essence of sporty elegance, with an olive green sunburst dial.
Patek Philippe has long distinguished itself in design, having developed its style and created some of the world's most famous watches. Creativity has always been at the centre of the Patek Philippe spirit, as demonstrated by the wide range of collections and models covering all segments of the watchmaking market. Each new watch model is an opportunity for the manufacturer to express its unique vision of fine watchmaking and to unleash its imagination and taste for invention, drawing on numerous sources of inspiration and responding to the variety of preferences and demands of the brand's customers. Thus the collections emerged, each with its character. The Calatrava, in 1932, archetype of the round wristwatch; the Golden Ellipse, in 1968, with its harmonious proportions inspired by the Golden Section; the Nautilus, in 1976, leader in the field of sporting elegance; the Gondolo collection, in 1993, contemporary embodiment of the Art Deco spirit; the Aquanaut, in 1997, emblem of modern, casual chic; the Twenty~4, in 1999, embodiment of timeless feminine elegance, completed in 2018 with the launch of the Twenty~4 Automatic. All these models, with their pure, clean lines, are designed to overcome passing trends without losing their beauty and charm. Each is an enduring icon of watchmaking design that evolves with subtle touches, maintaining its seductive power over the years and generations.
