Five years after opening the first RedFarm in the Upper West Side, in New York, CRÈME / Jun Aizaki Architecture and Design has taken the original concept and brought it to life in the heart of London’s Theatre District. Introducing the greenery of nature to the interior of the establishment, the ambience is composed of warm tone and a preference for the use of white brick walls and exposed wooden beams. The studio combined the use of red and white gingham fabric, an element that brought the colour and textures they were seeking.

“The focal point of the ground floor is a decorative and exotic live wall which reinforces the restaurant’s use of fresh ingredients”, explained the team. With a rustic and modern register, the three-story quaint building showcases a non-traditional Chinese restaurant, integrating plants, candles, communal tables and the mismatched chairs, a signature detail in all RedFarm locations.

The result is a welcoming and fresh atmosphere that is faithful to Chef Joe Ng’s farm-to-table approach.
