It was fifteen years ago, listening to Tom Jobim, that Vitor Almeida created eu.sei.que.vou.te.amar., in Oporto, an interior design store marked by unique pieces, conceived with high-end materials and made to last. Nowadays, it’s time for the Portuguese architect to start a brand new project: the ESQVTA luxury housing.

Vitor decided to maintain the brand’s values in those residential luxury unities, by highlighting handcraft and national furniture, lighting and objects. Works by Alexandre Conefrey, Hugo Amorim, Thierry Simões ou Elisa Pône fill the walls of the first volume, developed by the Portuguese architect in partnership with the architectural studio Yamagata. The result is a minimalistic and functional approach, with Japanese references and timeless pieces, such as the lamps AKARI from Isamu Noguchi.

“We wanted to include aromas that define our brand, customized bed linen or playlists that are the soundtrack or our main space”, explains the studio, enhancing the connection with the Brazilian culture, so important inside the company.
